So here is another look in these boots for you guys today. Last week I dressed them up with a leather motorcycle jacket and a red Rag & Bone knit sweater. Today, I played with loose layers and neutral, autumnal colors. My favorite part about Fall weather is the chance of getting to mix and match many pieces. It's all about feeling comfortable but also cool and confident at the same time.

My Mom and I had fun taking these impromptu pictures the other day. We had just finished posting a few family Christmas parcels and decided to play around with the camera. All was going well, until some Lothario decided to slow his car down and blow kisses my way. Sorry buddy, I'm already taken. If you couldn't already tell, I hate that kind of attention. Unless, say, of course, it was coming from Chris Pine or maybe Jamie Dornan?

What do you think of my pairing raspberry red leather pants with a soft pink blazer? Pink has always been my favorite color. When I was a little girl, my bedspread and walls were always in soft shades of pink. This new Galaxy print Dreamer T Shirt has to be my favorite top right now.

As soon as Thanksgiving wraps up, it's tradition to decorate the house in all things Christmas. Although, this year, we put the tree up before Thanksgiving. And the weather has finally cooled down, allowing me to play with my favorite coats, boots and sweaters again.

Sneak Peek " BLOG PROJECT "

How was your Thanksgiving yesterday? For those of you celebrating, hope it went well. I'm still stuffed. Today, I wanted to share a quick update with you on one of my Projects. A few months ago, I was approached by a local Style magazine to contribute my own column. Here I am hunting local boutiques for stylish pieces to wear in my third issue. I can't wait to share the looks I came up with ..soon. The next issue hits stands early 2012.

" A|X " Sequins on Thanksgiving

This sequin blazer from Armani Exchange is made up of primarily dark, glittering sequins. I wanted to add even more shine to the overall look by layering different colored sequins. The Holidays is a time of year when you can get away with more costumey pieces... other than, say, at Fashion Week. That's when I pounced on this little black dress. The entire skirt is adorned in gold, mirrored sequins and seemed to be the missing puzzle piece I needed. The sequined blazer and little black dress just seemed to marry well. As for the footwear? I nearly forgot about these suede platform wedges until I spotted them, way in the back of my wardrobe, smiling at me. Yearning to be worn again. The gold sequin clutch, the last dusting of shine. Going bare legged in this minidress is something I won't get to do much of once Christmas gets closer, tights will become a must with any short dress. Luckily, this mid-November weather is refreshing and not freezing ...not yet, anyway.

Finally, the debut of two new items I've been excited to wear. My red Rag & Bone cropped sweater and these chunky, Topshop ankle boots. To answer a few questions I received on Facebook and Twitter (they are tremendously comfortable) and fit much better than the Acne pistol boots. I tried those on in New York, unfortunately they pinched my toes. These boots from Topshop fit like a dream.

I'm infatuated with this motorcycle jacket with its amazing woven detail on the shoulders and sleeves. Easily reminiscent of the early nineties and modern day Balmain. I can imagine supermodel, Freja Beha all over this jacket.

By the way, I may be clearing out some shoes from my closet (size 8/8.5 US) let me know if you're interested? :)

These pants have this crazy paint-drip print, are just baggy enough and come with a cuffed hem. I was inspired to pair them with platform heels. The droopy pockets are perfect for jamming my hands into for warding off the cold winter chill. The fuzzy, muppet-like top is super off the shoulder and lots of fun. Arielle from Necessary Clothing picked out this adorable little outfit for me. (She really knows me and my style!) At the very last minute I added on the camel hued coat for warmth. When I glanced in the mirror, I couldn't help but think of Gywneth Paltrow's role in The Royal Tenenbaums as Margot. No, I've never actually seen this movie (I Know!) I do remember seeing photographs of her iconic cropped bob and beige fur though.

*Only 3 days until Thanksgiving. I'm making the cranberry sauce and pumpkin stuffed peppers this year.*
