Barnes and Noble

Gifted Monday Martini boyfriend blazer, Aviator Nation racerback, Gap jeans, Havaianas flip flops.

One of my favorite weekend rituals is hitting the bookstore to pick up fashion magazines, browse the books, down iced lattes and fill my ears with classical music.

Question: Did Starbucks discontinue the Cinnamon Dolce latte for good? :(

Before the intermittent rain set in, I took these with my new camera. I decided to splurge on my own digital SLR camera. When Alejandro isn't around I can always approach my best friend, brother or Mom to take photos of me. I also enjoy taking pictures myself, it's been a hobby since high school, I loved that class; creepy dark room and all.

Knee Socks & Wren Fall 2010

{ Top-Bottom: Jessica Simpson Dany platforms, Jeffrey Campbell Charlie clogs, Juicy Couture socks }

{ Wren Fall 2010 Lookbook }

I'm stuck on Fall. I keep finding myself pulling for November ready pieces as I begin to get dressed. I'm over Summer. I'm hoping for cascading capes, chunky knit knee socks, navy palettes, lots of spots and impressionist inspired frocks come Fall.

I'm Always in This Twilight

The frothy feel of this Leyendecker skirt is amazing. I adore the layers and splash of color. You should definitely take a peek at the Sale that is on now at Gilt Groupe! You will find some extremely stellar deals.

Believe it or not, in some way Edward Cullen inspired this outfit.... I just dashed on a bit of Audrey Hepburn whistles and frills... for good measure.

I'm still helplessly head over heels for these Balenciaga sandals.

Leyendecker skirt, American Apparel lace bodysuit, HM blazer, Balenciaga sandals, Lady Vanderbilt initial necklace, and Vintage sunglasses.

What's the one shoe you most want to splurge on this Fall?

PS. Remember when I wore THESE Gap Jeans? Now you can also check it out on Stream it on Gap1969.com.

At the Hudson

At the Hudson River.
Brixton T-Shirt, Levi's cut offs, Havaianas flip flops, Nightingale bag, Volcom hat.

I'm such a tourist because I find yellow New York taxi cabs to be so strikingly pretty against the concrete...

Salad from a deli by the River. The best Feta Cheese in the World!

Relaxing in The Yard at Soho Grand.

Walking our way into the center of Manhattan I spotted the Eiffel Tower...

Louis Vuitton perfectly depicted the Eiffel Tower on its Fifth Avenue walls.

Back in Soho.

New York in July

Scarlet Room jacket, Gap tee, Noir ring turned necklace.

SOLD Design Lab skinny jeans, Sam Edelman ballet flats, Nightingale bag.

There's a special kind of energy in New York at night. I find it completely irresistible.

Met up with Jason for Pizza and Soda at Lombardi's on Spring Street during our first night in New York.

We couldn't pass up dessert and quickly headed for Pinkberry. It was my first time trying it. I'm seriously hooked. I got mango while Alejandro and Jason got original. The toppings you spy on the right are Cap'n Crunch and mango bits.

During this shoot a blog reader spotted me and tweeted about it the next morning. Next time say hi. :)

I can't wait to go back again soon. Soho is my new favorite hangout.

Tennessee River

After an exhaustingly long drive, I'm finally back home! There's nothing like your own bed and pillows to contentedly doze off in. I spent the last week in meetings, visiting family, attending dinner parties and exploring the beauty that is Chattanooga Tennessee.

Alexander Wang tank, LOFT scarf and tote, Seventh Door shorts, Urban Outfitters gladiator sandals,
Perry Ellis sunglasses, Bleach Black x UO rings.

This scarf has effortlessly replaced my extensive collection of options for the Summer. I tend to organize my scarves near the closet door (by color, mind you) in an antique box. I believe it is the pastel palette in this one that never seizes to grab my attention.

PS. Alexander Wang has to make the softest tees in the world!

Restaurant City

We Are Rubbish Lace Panel Shirtdress, Silvana Danies Horn Necklace, SOLD Design Lab skinny jeans, Nightingale bag.

Turquoise is one of my favorite accessories.

Jeffrey Campbell Mariel wedges (Solestruck)

New York is known for its busy streets and gourmet dining. I have come to realize that the options are endless when it comes to choosing. Dinner at Pastis was nothing short of delectable. The fries were extremely delicious and were teasing me with their aroma from the moment I walked in.

I chose the spinach raviolis while Karen and Alejandro both ordered fish.

Dessert quickly followed:

Sticky Toffee Pudding (my favorite, hands down!!) with vanilla ice cream

...and Strawberry Shortcake with fresh cream.

After dinner we all went for a spin around the City. Times Square lit up at night still makes me gasp..

We ended the evening with chilled champagne and Pretty in Pink in bed.

View from the Hotel room.
